The good news:
The baby is due March 1st. Dr Gayle said that the measurements are great. It's just 1 day off. I had an ultrasound and the heartbeat was fine and it was measuring at almost and inch. You can definitely tell its a baby right now. I could distinctly see the legs, body, head, etc. I will also have a scheduled c-section one week before my due date which is March 1st. Right now I am thinking Feb 19-22 or so. He will see when I am further along and how well I progress before he sets a date.
The bad news:
My Dr is concerned about the lump on my stomach. He does not think it is scar tissue like my M.D. assumed. Dr Gayle said that it could be a form of a tumor. He asked me if I thought it has grown. It may seem a little bit bigger....just maybe! I did let my mom look at it the other day and she thinks it has gradually grown. He sent me to a general surgeon this morning. Of course since hes a general surgeon he would happen to be in surgery when my Dr tried to contact him ha! Dr Gayle wrote him a note and the receptionist said that hes in surgery all day today and tomorrow so he would see me on Monday. I have an appt Monday at 8:30. Dr Gayle said that the surgeon may choose to do a biopsy. If the results are good then Dr Gayle will remove it whenever I have my c-section. If they are negative then the surgeon will make the call.
