Appt #1
The results from MD Anderson are not in yet. The Dr said that he will call me when they receive them. I did find out that I am a candidate for radiation. If I do have to go that route then I will have to start it after the baby is born and I cannot breastfeed. He said if it has attached to my muscle or lymph nodes then there would be some removal of that. Again he told me that he may just send us to MD Anderson which is a cancer center in Houston. He doesnt want to send us there until he gets the final results. Also he did say that it will be a risky surgery since I am pregnant therefore that may be one reason for me to go there anyways. He just couldnt give us any more info then what we already know. I do have to wait until I am 15 weeks to get the MRI. He said that if he did an excision without all of the details then it would probably come back. I will be 12 weeks on thursday so I guess I will have a MRI soon. At 1:45 I have to go to my OB. My surgeon said he would call him when I got out of my appt so he would know what to expect when we arrive there at 1:45.
