Battling with appts, referals, & calls

Since friday I have been battling with the Dr's office. I got a call thursday right before 5:00 from MD Anderson saying they needed an authorization from my Dr (didnt say which one) before I can get an appt. Dr Parrent, my general surgeon, called me friday and said that I have to get my MD to do it. I called twice on friday to Dr Herrons office, my MD, and was told that I would get a call in the evening...never did. I got a call sat from Dr Gayle, my OB, checking on me and making sure I have gotten my authorization, which of course I have not. Then I called at 8 this morning to let Dr Herron, my MD, know that I never heard from them on fri and needed this done. Receptionist said they would take care of is ASAP...never heard from them so I called again and about 5 min ago I finally got a call from Dr Herron's nurse, my MD, saying that they faxed it fri. Then I called MD Anderson and they received the fax, waiting for insurance approval, then we can make an appt from there. Now I have to call Dr Gayle and let him know. WHEW! Thats alot of work just for that. I already have 5 Dr's that are involved in this, My MD from FF that said it was scar tissue which I have to update, my MD from BCS, my OB, my general surgeon, my radiologist, and now the MD Anderson Drs that I have not found anything about yet.
